Colby told me that he had something for me this morning. When I asked him what he got me, he told me that he was not going to tell me. Throughout the day, he kept taunting me with the fact that he knew something that I did not.
When six in the evening rolled around, I told Colby that I had enough of his taunting. That was when he went into our room to get my gift. When he surfaced, he had a large package in his hand. I snatched it from him and plopped down on the couch. When I tore it open, my heart skipped a beat. He got me two very expensive chess sets.
These chess sets looked like they cost a lot of money. I could not believe that Johannes would spend so much on me. But then again, I could because he loves me. I made sure he knew that I really appreciated his gift. He was glad that the gift made me happy.
